Wow what can I say. It really takes you back in time. Who doesn't love an old car hop? The prices are great & if you order a basket meal, it comes with a drink. I will include the menu so you can check out their prices. They are great in every way! If you are near South Bend, Indiana look them up. So worth it. I recommend the Chicken fingers & fries basket. You can't go wrong with the burgers either!

This place is a well known family owned ice cream and soda shop. Great food and ice cream! It is DEFINITELY NOT a fast food joint. No feed waiting on stand-by. Its made to order, so expect to have a little wait time! Aidan was my server and he is excellent! They work very hard! Tip your servers!!

Walked in around 1pm and got seated with a party of 5 people. The waitress was friendly. Got our milk shakes in a timely manner and food came out hot. We got cheeseburgers and chicken stripes. Also got cheese fries and cheese/bacon fries. Food was good and we were full when left. They aren't open year round so get there before end of season on October 30th I believe it is.

Excellent food at a very reasonable price. My husband loved his tenderloin basket. He's going to ask for lettuce , onions , and cheese next time we're here. And my fish sandwich was by far the best one I've had in this area. It was perfectly crispy with a good amount of fish , the bun was nice and crispy, and the tartar sauce had just the right amount of lemon juice and pickle relish that it was fresh, creamy, and tangy without the pickle flavor overpowering the sandwich (other restaurants should take note). Also of importance: our order was accidentally sent to the wrong car, so the manager gave us each a free small cup of ice cream while he had them re-make our entire order. I had the chocolate chip ice cream (loved it), and my husband had the black cherry (excellent). This team clearly cares about their customers, and we deeply appreciate their legendary service.

Excellent burgers. If you ask me the freeze could use a little bit more salt but other than that they were delicious. Everything else was fantastic. My daughter did a patty melt with lettuce and tomato added man that was good.

Six of us recently dinned in for lunch for a colleagues birthday. The birthday girl chose the venue. I was extremely reluctant considering I do not do fast food/friend food ... but I was able to get through the experience thinking about how well preserved the restaurant was to it’s original presence of when I was a kid and came here occasionally after church on a Sunday with my sister and parents. My mom and dad would tell us stories about how the establishment was a popular place to go in the 60s when they were dating in high school and how cheeseburgers only cost a quarter, yada, yada, yada. I do remember they both loved the pork tenderloin sandwich with lettuce, tomato and mayo and friend mushrooms - menu items that still appear today.

We had a great lunch after a golf day. Our food was great and prices are so reasonable. Our server Ariana truly was one of the best servers that I've had at any restaurant. She was very informative with the options and seemed to really enjoy helping people. A awesome, I couldn't recommend more!
